In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Islamic education class for kids (4-10 years) began with greeting the kids with Assalamoalaikum and the kids greeted back with Walaikumusalam.
Quran Time
They revised Surah Fatiha, Surah Naas and Surah Falq by repeating after the audio recitation.
Duas Time
The students were introduced to the duas for going to bed and waking up in the morning. The students repeated the duas after the teacher and were given a dua card to post on their beds as a reminder for them to recite the duas every day.
Lesson Time
Next the children were introduced to Salah as a means of talking to Allah as everyone likes talking to people close to them and Allah is closest and most special to us. They were told about the five daily prayers and their names and times. The main lesson of the day was about Wudu. The students were told about the importance of Wudu as a means to clean themselves before prayer. All the steps of wudu were described and demonstrated to the students. Then every student demonstrated the steps of wudu with some help from the teacher.
To appreciate their effort, they all received a copy of My Wudu Book by Darusalam Publishers.
Arabic time
The students learned the Arabic numbers from 0 to 10.
